Is Path a fund?
Is Path a fund?
No. Path is a protocol and intelligence layer. Companies and partner
rails retain custody of their own stablecoins; Path produces yield
signals and confidence scores that those rails consume. We do not
pool capital, we do not manage capital on a discretionary basis, and
we do not issue fund units.
Who custodies the assets?
Who custodies the assets?
The partner rail or custodian does. Path is non-custodial. Capital
sits either in the partner’s existing custody stack (Fireblocks,
Anchorage, or similar) or directly in the underlying yield
protocol’s smart contracts (Aave, Morpho, Compound, Pendle). Path
never holds user assets and has no withdrawal authority.
Does Path execute trades?
Does Path execute trades?
Today, no. Path emits the signal and the rail executes the
rebalance. This keeps the trust boundary clean: the partner controls
every state-changing action, and Path is one input into their
allocation decision. On-chain signed signal output via the Chainlink
CRE workflow is in flight for partners that want verifiable signal
delivery on-chain.
How does Path make money?
How does Path make money?
Path earns a curator fee on capital allocated under Path-driven
strategies inside partner rails. Fees are negotiated per partner and
are paid out of the spread, not on top of user yield. We do not
charge users directly and we do not run a token.
Who can integrate with Path?
Who can integrate with Path?
Custodians, modular rails, treasury platforms, on-chain asset
managers, and any surface that already manages stablecoin balances
on behalf of clients. The integration shape is an embeddable
intelligence layer: a programmatic feed for backend consumption,
a widget for end-client surfaces, or both. See
Partner access for the
integration patterns.
Do you publish accuracy numbers?
Do you publish accuracy numbers?
Live accuracy numbers are published on the website as a
real-time endpoint. We do not pin a static accuracy claim in docs
because the cohort, the prediction horizon, and the measurement
window all matter, and they update continuously. If you are
evaluating Path, ask us for a snapshot scoped to your use case and
we will pull the live numbers.
What chains do you cover?
What chains do you cover?
Ethereum mainnet today, with Base ingest activated 2026-05-17.
Additional EVM chains are on the roadmap and will activate as
partners require coverage on them.
What protocols are monitored?
What protocols are monitored?
Aave V3 and V4, Morpho Blue, Compound V3, Pendle, Kamino, and
Spectra. The pool list inside each protocol updates continuously as
DeFiLlama and Path’s own collectors discover new pools. The
Signal Mesh page describes how each
protocol’s data is ingested and scored.
Is there a contract address?
Is there a contract address?
Path is currently an off-chain intelligence service. There is no
Path smart contract a user interacts with today. The signed signal
output via the Chainlink CRE workflow will surface DON-signed
contract addresses once the on-chain feed is live; those addresses
will be published here when they are deployed.
